This month hasn't started out well either, already $150 to Skydive Chicago. And none of this counts the cash used for gas, lunch/dinner, drinks. etc etc.But you know my (and half the other skydivers in the northern US) theory: Hey, no problem, I can pay it all back when winter comes and I'm not jumping as much! It looks like my credit card bill too, except you need to show the new rig, main, reserve and cypres plus motel and food every weekend, so what is the point. jfields 0 #5 August 13, 2001 Wildblue,You need to start a savings plan! I don't mean at a bank. Whenever you have any extra cash or can't jump, buy up some more lift tickets. This applies to winter, rainy seasons, holiday bonuses, etc. Just keep buying them even if you already have some.Then when the weather gets nice or you have time to go to that monster boogie at your local DZ, you dip into your "savings" and pull out a fist full of lift tickets. Bingo! Of course, that one doesn't look so bad because I had the cash for it, so there's a huge charge and a huge payment on the same monthjfields - I've sorta done that before. But it's kinda like finding money in the couch (except it's jump tickets in the wallet/logbook) you think "woohoo!
