jfields 0 #26 August 28, 2001 QuoteNow you just have to learn to jump tanksI never got in a jump with tanks. But I got in some scuba dives with tanks, and not the regular kind. Here is a picture and here is the article. Fun, fun stuff! Your tax dollars at work. Tee 0 #27 August 28, 2001 Quote I never thought I'd want to try it, but it's started to intrigue me if I could get over my fear of the water..especially with all the shark attacks lately! *shiver* I find sharks facinating and terrifying at the same time. That is one thing I would love to do though is to dive with the sharks just to test myself (docile ones of coarse ). I can't wait....I am just waiting for the call to confirm my attendance on September 14-16!!!! And Frank, I just may take you up on that offer of coming to the coast!!!!! Tee 0 #29 August 28, 2001 Quote Got your shark suit on....Lookin Good! Here's your sign. ROFLMAO! I'm talking about the sharks that are known to be more docile like the Silky sharks etc. I would love to get in on a shark diving group. What better way to conquer your fears than to immerse yourself in them? Tee

Aviatrr 0 #31 August 29, 2001 Quote I was at New Smyrna beach....I saw 4 bull sharks that were only inches from my board...and saw probably another 10+ with in 20 yards from me....thats when I decided to leave. That's nothing.. Last week, I saw probably 100 sharks within a couple hundred feet.. I got face to face with one of 'em - about a foot apart.. I saw a lot of different kinds of sharks, but mostly bull sharks, tiger sharks, makos, and hammerheads.. It was pretty cool..Oh, wait a second.....you weren't talking about aquariums, were you? Nevermind.. BTW - Shark Reef at that hotel in Vegas(i forget which hotel it is - next to Luxor) is pretty cool..Mike
