My Dear Friends,
At this time I do not know how to celebrate my life, with so many missing
and dead at this time.
As my friends know, I never ask for anything for my birthday, except for
their presence
(not presents). I am not much one for 'stuff'.
The only way I can wake up on Saturday Morning, with the pain slightly
lessoned, is knowing I may have
made a difference in the wake of this enormous tragedy.
So, I am asking those who's lives I have touched, who I may have made a
difference for. And who, knowingly or not, have made a HUGE difference in my
life.
As a gift to me to do this.........................

Raise money at your next skydiving event for something outside the
microscope of Skydiving,
Make a difference in the community
Hug your children for an extra 5 minutes today. Give them hope for a more
peaceful tomorrow. Show them the way.
Call/e-mail your parents, family, friends and tell them what they mean to
you.
Find an old friend you have lost touch with.
Put down past grudges and cherish the time we have living on this beautiful
planet.

Quit doing things that adversely affect your health, I want all my friends
to live long, healthy, happy, fulfilled lives.

Blood and platelet donors will be needed over the next several weeks to help
replenish the nation's supply. Call the Red Cross at 1-800-GIVE-LIFE or
America's Blood Centers at 1-888-BLOOD-88 to schedule an appointment.
NOTE: The Red Cross is getting overwhelmed. The Manhattan Tree House is
helping to coordinate things for them. On the West Side: The Manhattan Tree
House at 148 West 83rd between Amsterdam and Columbus is accepting donations
of water, granola bars, juices, heavy duty men's clothing - masks, gloves,
goggles. Their number: 212-712-0113.
To donate money to the Red Cross for assisting victims of the attacks, call
1-800-HELP-NOW.
The United Way of New York and The New York Community Trust have established
a fund to help the victims of Tuesday's attacks and their families. Anyone
wishing to contribute may call

To make donations to the Salvation Army for helping the victims, call
1-800-SAL-ARMY.
