Well, things didn't work out for us in North Carolina for now. They emailed saying they had an offer for Merrick last night, but boss man nixed it this morning to the guy who emailed saying it was time for budget cuts. C'mon guys..surely some of you there in NC can hook us up! LOL!

Thanks guys :) Well, Slappie...Houston is hotter then here, and definately more humid! Plus I had to close my eyes the one time I was there riding in that traffic, I don't think that'd work while I'm driving :) hehe
I told Merrick the same thing...at least he is not unemployed, we were just wanting something better and to start on settling down somewhere we could stay for a long time. I know there are some out there right now in this economy without jobs at all. I'm actually glad they told us BEFORE we got there of the budget cuts! I prayed that it would happen as it's supposed to, and I'm sure it did. Still sucks right now, but that's okay :)

He is a system's analyst. He came to this area straight out of college, and now that he's got experience, we just want to find someplace where he has an opportunity to learn more and the people don't all have a stick up their a$$. LOL. Also a place where I don't have to work thru a temp service and be told that I'm 'expendable' because I don't have a degree. We're getting all domesticated feeling, want to buy a house, have a kid and all that stuff, so just need a place to do that, and it's not going to be here! Plus there has to be a good Dz nearby :) We'll just keep practicing on the kid thing for now!

Damn, sorry to hear that. But if there is one thing I have learned over the years is that everything happens for a reason, even the bad stuff. It will all work itsself out.
You guys could always save a few hundred $$ and move to Canada. With the $$ conversion, those few hundred should make you millionaires!
