Ive heard of Quincy, but what are the other better ones that bring together alot of skydivers and a variety of aircraft? I am especially interested in high altitude jumps. cameramonkey 0 #2 September 20, 2001 Richmond "THE" Boogie is in my opinion the best. Lots of airplanes, lots of people (between 900-1500 depending), but still a smallish freindly feel. It starts the wednesday before labor day and goes on thru the holiday.Yes, maybe I am biased since Richmond (Indiana) is my home DZ, but ask anyone (except a certain USPA official who insisted on getting kicked out for bad behavior) and they will tell you it ROCKS! PhreeZone 20 #3 September 20, 2001 My vote is for Summerfest. Skydive Chicago did a great job for its first real boogie this year. Limited plane selection (3 Supper otters, 1 twin otter, 1 DC3, 1 Bell 222 Chopper) but it was great. Alot of friends had scattered all over the country and that seemed like a good point to meet. It was a blast. During the day, it was Jump and Pack and Jump and pack. Every Night was a massive party. They had an old Milk Truck keeping the beer cold with taps on the outside. The showers had a "spinning" men and womens sign. Manifest ran smooth, weather was great. Polyester Party, camp sights with great themes and of course, couches everywhere. I didn't make the trip this year, but my slot on the RV filled fast. Everyone had a great time. Its not hard core partying at night (allthough there definatly is some action), but what I want in a boogie is good skydiving from big planes.... and usulally, they are big (this year was a bit of a let down with no Antonov and no turbine DC3).
