Tee 0 #1 September 28, 2001 This is completely unrelated to skydiving, but I have to share part of my landlord nightmare with all of you. My sweetie and I gave our notice at the end of the month to move out of our apartment. I'm not sure how it works in other parts of the world, but in Alberta Canada, the landlord has to give you 24 hours notice before entering your suite. Well, my creepy old landlord has let people in on 3 occaisions (that I know of) for reasons such as showing the suite (it is already rented), changing the taps, doors etc.So anyway, I was getting out of the shower yesterday after work, walk out of the bathroom completely nekkid and hear voices. I turn my head and...yup...there they were, my wrinkly old landlord and 2 plumber-butt old men measuring things. And ME NEKKID!!! What happened next was not a pleasant sight!!! Divadiver 0 #3 September 28, 2001 Hey Tee be glad you've got a landlord! I got myself in a real pickle last weekend. Found another house to rent, bigger, (2 bathrooms), put a deposit down and almost had the lease signed, gave my landlord notice and then the new landlords back out on me. Told me that she owned another house that she was moving into closer to her work - turned out her parents own it, want to sell it not rent to her. Now, I've given notice and I either grovel to stay where I am (in the boonies) and have to sign a year's lease or I might be homeless by the 31st of next month!
