iamcolin 0 #1 October 5, 2001 Ok heres my plan!After christmas and new years and all that yeh yeh I'm gonna shoot south as fast as I can to get the hell out of this weather. The thing is that there is this annual trip a bunch of skydivers take from Alberta, Saskatchewan and BC... They all go to Eloy Arizona to skydive for two weeks and its called Canadian invasion or something like that.. Well I want to stay there for at least till May... I refuse to go back to the snow... Anyways the real question here is, Is anybody from Arizona that I could perhaps meet up with? Or anybody that does this sort of thing where you go out and live somewhere on a dropzone like that?! I dont really know exactly what I'm getting myself into but hey it'll fun and interesting!After awhile there I think I wanna head over to some dropzones in California too. Kelly 0 #2 October 5, 2001 hey. sounds like our plans are a little simiar. ill be in florida, if not california already sometime november.. from there ill head to Eloy for a bit. Ive got a friend headed there now as we speak. im eventually going to australia but i just might wait until the boogie in febuary at Port Maquarie to head over there. anywhoo, ill be at eloy for a bit! by then ill have a navy blue, royal blue and red container, a voodo. Hopefully ill either be in the sky or on the packing mat.Ill be looking for you if im there for the canadian invasion.BTW- theres a place to stay on the dz. not gaurenteed, but from what Bridget has told me theres an area called the Concentration camp. a camping area/trailor area with a brick wall around it hence the name. call the dz. write them an email. try to get your name known before you get there.. it will make things easier if you plan to stay for a while."i can not attest to what i did, just what i remember...."~me, after one too many Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

AndyAnderson 0 #4 October 5, 2001 You can all ways come over to Coolidge, free bunkhouse, hot tub, Mullins Super King Air (cheap jumps), indoor packing and a great atmosphere. It would be a little bit of a drive to Eloy but at least you'd have a bed to sleep on, rather than an old musty VW bus! Let me know when and just throw me an e-mail.
