Juan Helluva Weekend

Don't know about the rest of you, but I just returned from an amazing weekend. A group of seven from the local dz drove to AZ to jump @ Marana. Never been to Eloy, but the scenery an hour away was breath taking. $99 all you can jump weekend, jumps from 13k+(we're used to 9500), two people breaking the 100 mark, no wind landings.....the list goes on...made for one hell of an awesome weekend. I got 16 loads for my $100.....you do the math, but I think I got my money's worth. We did a big way freefly flail for Yim666's 100th, which was eventful in and of itself. I got my shirt ripped, kicked a fellow jumper in the junk (unintentionally), and took Yim low......love ya man! Did a sitfly jump maintaining close proximity w/ the other guy all the way down to 3500, then checked alti.....oops, belly, dump, look over to see friend's canopy less than 100ft away, schweet. Landed off-dz once, due to a bad spot, next to a prison........an all female prison. They were waving and screaming- without delving into the freedom/imprisonment philosophical shite-it was pretty stinkin' funny.......even hitchhiked a ride back to the dz. Head down through 5k of industrial haze....odd that I didn't see any factories nearby though. Watched a fellow poster (unnamed) bring it in downwind all the way to an abrupt stop induced by impacting his face into a construction sign.....even better...he got up and walked away smiling; bleeding, yes, but smiling nevertheless. Did I mention BEER and a 12-oz T-bone for $5.50? Yadda yadda yadda, I could go on and on. Whoo Hoo!! Rock on brothers and sisters.
