Jessica 0 #1 October 13, 2001 Alamo City Skydivers -- an old DZ which is -- drum roll -- 20 MINUTES from where I live, and has been closed for God knows how long...IS OPENING BACK UP!!!!!!!A guy I know might fly their T-Bo for them! They've got a confirmed Twin Otter boogie on Nov. 3!!!!!!!!It's like...they were WAITING for me to move to town before they opened back up... Right now, the closest DZ is 90ish minutes away, and only open weekends, which I unfortunately work.I'm ecstatic!!
allieram 0 #2 October 13, 2001 AWESOME! 20 mintues is great, a lot better than 90 minutes. The DZ I'm jumping at now is only 5 miles from my house. I can see the open canopies from my living room window. Having a close DZ is great.Have FUN!

I have this thing called a wife. She sometimes limits the amount of skydiving I get to do. Skydive a weekend or two, then I have to spend time with her. I guess I can't complain, she hasn't put a stop to my skydiving (heck, her last job helped pay for me to go through AFF).
