for everyone complaining how expensive this sport is, I have the solution: gambling!
when I was on student status, I won enough to cover 2 student jumps, plus some accessories (logbook, goggles, etc.)
around a year later, I won enough to pay for a day of jumping.
and today, I won enough for a cypres and a couple jump tickets. ha fucking ha. just needed to gloat about that.
and no, I did not have any vegas vacations where I lost money since I started jumping.

Hmmm... my thoughts exactly! Two weeks from now I'll be in Reno, playing the pass line with odds and placing the 6 and the 8. Craps has always been good to me in the past, and this trip I'm hoping to come home with at least enough to buy a reserve to put in my new container.
