PhreeZone 20 #2 November 12, 2001 Which Dropzone do you jump at? I'm guessing either Aerohio or CSPC, both are nice places. You'll be hard pressed to get 500 jumps in Ohio in a single season unless you go south for the winters or become a tandem/Aff instructor and quit your juob and move to the DZ. I jump at Skydive Greene County near Xenia. I think the majority of our active jumpers got about 250-300 jumps this year. The season is wraping down in Ohio. Our Casa made its way back to Carolina Sky Sports this morning for its 100 hour and winterization. Its on to Lake Wales or Sebastion for the winter. We've still got a Beech 18 and Westwind Beech for the winter, but since there is no heat in the planes its kinda cold at altitude. There are quite a few on these fourms that are from Ohio. I know of 8 from Greene County another 6 from Aerohio and a few from CSPC are on these boards.Let me know if you ever head down to Xenia, I'm hard to miss with my tye-dye on A rainy day at the DZ is better then a Sunny day at work

PhreeZone 20 #4 November 12, 2001 The Goodtimes/Jumprun.com Boogie was well recieved this year and I hear that they are going for 300 skydivers next year. They leased a CSS casa last year and that really helped out I heard. I saw some pics and it looked really nice, a smaller boogie that everyone could feel at home with.Xenia is near Dayton. Traveling around is deffinatly a good idea. I've been to 4 different DZ's and jumped at 3 of them. I will be adding another DZ to the list over Thanksgiving (Skydive Dallas The Casa is returns to SGC around April 1st every year so if you want to jump the big bird, pop down after then. Till then... Blue Skies, and hopefully Warmer weather. I did my share of winter jumps last year and decided its lots easier to caugh up the$ 5-600 to head south for a week then it is to suffer the painful landings that come with sub-20 degree jumps. A rainy day at the DZ is better then a Sunny day at work
