jalkek 0 #26 November 12, 2001 It could have been a 9 or 10 way if you would have believed that the rest of us were .commers too! We were so upset we went to Waller on Sunday just to escape you guys...just kidding. Enjoyed meeting all non-Houstoners. Congrats on the 8 way.
chicagoskydiver 0 #27 November 12, 2001 Those are great pics! I couldn't download them because they're protected. Is there any way you can e mail them to me? I'd really love to have 'em. Come on, now, help a brutha out!Hackey
AggieDave 6 #28 November 12, 2001 It could have been a 9 or 10 way if everyone made it to their slots...of course, I'm one to talk, I think I have logged more funneled exits then good ones (sorry about that 5-way guys )."who's that guy freeflying with the RW guys? Ahh, no, that's just Dave, he funneled again...don't worry, everything will be fine, he'll just go real low on the formation..."AggieDave '02-------------Blue Skies and Gig'em Ags!BTHO t.u. Zennie 0 #29 November 12, 2001 Quote It could have been a 9 or 10 way if you would have believed that the rest of us were .commers too! Sorry Jim! I know we were kinda being "dz.com Nazis". But we kinda had to because we gave the DeLand folks a buncha flak for trying to sneak an unofficial 7-way in on us. Still it's good to see ya on the boards! Post early & often! Pammi 0 #31 November 12, 2001 What an amazing weekend! Merrick and I each got 7 jumps...more then I have ever had the opportunity to get, and that's even leaving on Sunday afternoon! Everyone there was so incredible! From the DZO, to the skydivers. Slappy was absolutely the greatest...he was so great giving us rides, a place to stay and so much more. He really helped us out with anything we needed. Gawd where to start. Scottie is such a sweetheart! He helped so much with organizing and his food is as great as everyone said it was. I'll never forget him doing my SCR and the say he hangs his head out of the plane at take-off like a dog....LOL! Such a great guy too...and funny!! Ramon attempted to take me head-down. Good luck with that! hehe! We only had it for a few seconds before it started spinning and he let go for me to go into a sit like we'd planned. Now THAT was hilarious!! Big 'ole pants took me on a ride :) I saw Ramon under me on his back and I swear I saw him laughing as I flipped every which way :)I don't know what happened to me on the second day! I was doing pretty well the first day...got to the formations (that was funny Paula!! - we flew around the two of us linked trying to catch the base after the funnel exited on the first day - the base kept moving! Finally we separated and both got in!). The second day I was just zooming this way and that and couldn't seem to get myself slowed down :/ Ah well..it was funny on video! :) I tried to slow down when I was coming in to the formation the way I was told to and ended up flipping backwards..not sure why. Will have to work on that one! Let's see, landed out on one...way out! Merrick, Troy and I all were way out in a field. Lost my Dytter *sob* on that one also...I think in the plane when my helmet fell on the floor cuz I didn't hear it on the way down. The SCR ceremony was a blast! Troy is my SCR buddy now! We froze our a**es off and sweet Paula had a warm shower waiting...thank heavens! Gosh, anyway...a fabulous weekend. I wish so much we lived closer to Houston! But we will be back regardless!! Guaranteed! (You spoiled bastards!) :)Family Photos

Merrick 0 #33 November 12, 2001 *sigh* Yeah... Zennie, Pam, & I didn't make it in on that jump, and Pam's right, it is HILARIOUS on video. It sucked too, cuz every other jump that I did went great as far as my slot goes. I kinda blew the exit & found my self low, came back up, went low again, came back up, drove in, thought I was going to make it, then tucked up & went under the formation at the last second (I would have absolutely wiped everyone out LOL) then I just tracked off.... it was one of those moments on video that makes everyone watching go "DOHHHH.. Man!!!" lol Ahh well, Six great skydives & one good learning experience! Seriously tho, it was great meeting up with everyone & getting in a few great skydives (even if I didn't make it in on the record )... Spaceland is an awesome DZ with a great vibe, I've never felt more welcome at a DZ or by a group of people (even those that weren't part of the .com crowd)... As Slappie would say, "we had a 'ROCKIN' good time!" lol If you're ever in the Houston area, stop by, it truly is an awesome place! Zennie, Slappie, Ramon, Paula, & everyone else at the DZ are a hell of a lot of fun! Oh also, if anyone can get the video of Pam's SCR on digital media I'd really appreciate it (I actually made it in to that one), we'd like to put it on her web-site!"Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"

AggieDave 6 #39 November 13, 2001 That's funny, since at the beginning of the weekend I asked "Hey, do we need to spot the loads?" and I was told, nope, we have GPS and no problems. On that load (I barely made it back to the DZ) I looked down about at about 4 grand and thought "where in the f*** am I? I don't even see the airport." It wasn't till after I opened I was able to locate the DZ. AggieDave '02-------------Blue Skies and Gig'em Ags!BTHO t.u.

airann 1 #41 November 13, 2001 Man, This weekend ~the time I spent with the "dot commers"~ was the bomb. You guys are so freakin great. I enjoyed my cameo appearance. It sucked that it had to be such a limited run. I wound up having a weekend full of 'family emergencies'. So I am sorry about that, unavoidable. However, the Pour of ChicagoSkydiver and Pami was killer. I kept telling Pami to breathe. It hard to breathe when cold stuff keeps getting poured on you. I'd yell breathe then go ahead and pour stuff on ChicSky. He had big chunks of ice on his shoulders. There was actually a video of that, on Pami's camera but someone (Slappy) forgot to turn it on. BTW: Single women dot commers who were not there- *Note: Chic.Sky./Hackey and Aggie Dave = are buff, and bad ass good looking, seriouslyHookit, Conway, Jim A, Ramon, Cloud9, Carbonezone, and Hell, I can' remember a bad looking 'dot commer'. All super fine gentlemen. I dont know the 'status' of them however. I just jump with them so I know what they look like. AntiMike and JumperPaula - you kill me. I love you two.Now Merrik I was worried about, He looks like a girl in his dot com picture and I told him too. We were at the Rabbitt Hole trying to burn his house down, when I just said, Dude, you look like a girl in your picture. Merrick is like-, "Hows that, I have on a full face helmet?" Heh.. He just looks like a girl in it, and thats about it. But anyway, Merrick is good looking too. Pami is the warm and fuzziest ever, and I loved talking to her. Next time, Hello!!, I have 3 brm house and bring the damn dogs. I heated the pool, just in case, you know. Anyway, bring all your stuff so you dont have to go back ever. So anyway, AgDave isnt a big meanie like everyone thought - just kidding, he is a big buff good looking intelligent cowboy hat and boots and nice guyAnd... Merrick isnt a girl, after all.Pami is exactly what she appears to be kind, loving, funny and a big fuzzy. Awesome good person.ChyciagoSkydiver has a too long of a name and to many names Hackey?, Anyway ...swooper sweet of you to come down here I enjoyed talking to you. And THAN.... All of the dot commers are extremely huggable people. This, I was super glad to find out. I am a huggy kissy person. And a little social butterfly or mothlike person. I get around to everyone if they stand still long enough. Me and my fragmented sentences get around, that is. Matter of fact, I was at two different DZ's this weekend one on AirAnn business and the other reserved for the Spaceland Break the record Bash, .......Zennie- awesome good job and I love you, Man. Where was my friend - your wife? & Slappy not bad, and I am pretty sure you should let other people back your truck up when the trailer is on it-- especially when you have reached a certain blood alcohol level. However, it was a real crowd pleaser.I had a blast, would have loved to see you guys "dot commer" in the daylight butwow- I could be a vampire like my neighbor Mr Klump. More later, you guys ROCK!!!I say we all show up in Dallas pretty soon. Skydive~Friends~HappinessAirAnnhttp://www.AirAnn.com

skreamer 1 #47 November 13, 2001 Can't really say all those names are that familiar, but if you want to claim a record... So, the yanks put together an 8-way (apparently). I think we can better that (with legitimate euro dz.commers too!). And as for you Slappy : Quote he was so great giving us rides, a place to stay and so much more Big up the Slapmeister for being the first to score in Operation Melons!!!
