mountainman 0 #1 November 10, 2001 I think that what your computer desktop (on the screen without programs open) says a lot about the person who uses the computer most. I have taken a picture of mine and put it on the "attachment" to the left. Everyone take a picture of their desktop and stick it on here as attachment. Make sure when you are saving it, you do so as ".jpg".If you need something to make good screenshots, use THIS LINK and download the "capture" program. It will need ran from your programs list and it will be the camera in the task bar as you can see in mine. (FYI...this program automatically makes it a BIG ".bmp" file which will need resaved as .jpg so its not too big to add as attachment.Show us your desktops and we'll analyze you. Hehehe....--------------click me for a good time

indyz 1 #3 November 10, 2001 Here's mine. I'm a big Heidi Klum in a painted-on bathing suit suit fan. Thats my instant messenger on the right, me email program in back on the left, a note to myself on top of that, and my MP3 player is on there too. Before anybody asks, I'm running Linux (a customized Debian Potato, new kernel and whatnot), with the Blackbox window manager running on top of X Windows version 4.something.--Brian

Most people skydive because they like the way it feels not how they look when they do it. You can be a hardcore skydiver and not have every little detail in your life (desktops, teeshirts, etc) reflect that. Anyhow, here is my desktop... mountainman 0 #15 November 10, 2001 These are all really cool!! I guess I am always curious when I go to someone's house or something, how their computer desktop looks. You can always tell how they are by their desktop (IMHO). I think that with mine, you can tell that I am simple and organized. I always have only the 4 main icons showing and everything it its respective directory, anti-virus updated twice per day, and as few programs running at a time.Seems some people let the "shortcut" icons overrun their desktop! Anyway, keep em coming!!!--------------click me for a good time
scottbre 0 #16 November 10, 2001 Fab,Yea the Micro-Tronix thing was a little bit annoying when i first got the pic but it isn't like it is a product or company or anything, it is just what the guy who did the wallpaper named it, so I don't have too much of a problem with it...I have switched to others and then come back to that one after awhile. I think there is some sort of elegance to it. Whatever, I just like it.

PLFKING 4 #18 November 10, 2001 I like that pic, Brandon....where was it taken ?Here's mine....same at home as at work. Southeast Airport in Greensboro, NC was where i did my S/L training. I took this on jump #11 with a one-time use Kodak, hence the poor resolution (the median strip is where I landed on my very first jump).I like looking at it at odd moments of the day.....if I concentrate on it, it takes me away from my desk and back up into the blue...Don
