youre not gonna tell us how it went i guess. no nervousness, any excitement. what kinda day was it? any body...tell me a (jump) story. i'm grounded here and i need to here that altitude still exists

Heya JT, not much to tell really.
I got to the DZ right after work...put my gear on and manifested for the first load for a hop n pop from 5,000. I didnt care which aircraft it was on...All I wanted to do was get back out there.....put my stuff on, my brand new freefly suit on..and did a nice stable exit at the appropriate altitude and we were at a perfect spot too...nice 10 second delay and I pulled...was all purdy up above so played around with the hornet...next thing you know I am getting in the patern and standing it up right in the fricken PEA'S!!!! now mind you this is the pre second time I have landed in the peas....I usualy on purpose tend to land out further away from traffic...I can put it down where I want, I just prefer to avoid any chance of collision and avoid the traffic by landing out...only person in the air with me at the time was a level 8 student...
all in all, a great skydive...only thing is it wasnt at Deland..it was in Sebastian...but other than that...it did help my confidence some...but I am not one to bounce back really quick from something like that..
