flyhi 24 #1 November 27, 2001 Michele,On one of Clayton's old post you said your father was in Kelly's Heroes, but didn't say who he was. Are you Michele Eastwood, Michele Savalas, or Michele Southerland or something? Don't hold out on your East Coast brotheren (and sisteren) who don't have the proximity to Hollyweird to know these things. Please allow us to live vicariously just this one time. Until the next time, that is...Homer: Movie stars... is there anything they don't know? flyhi

Michele 1 #3 November 27, 2001 Flyhi, the title of that post led me to places better left unexplored.....QuoteDamn...nothing more annoying than being in....A shadow? The Shadow Knows......Well, Pops is not Sutherland, Eastwood (although he's a doll), or any "name" you would know right off the bat. But his face you would! His name is Len Lesser, (and my name is Michele Lesser). Most recently, he's been doing sitcoms, and such. Uncle Leo on Seinfeld, Uncle somebody or other on the sitcom with Helen Hunt and whatisface that went off the air recently (3 years ago?), Caroline, Sex in the City, and Everybody Loves Raymond (and some others, but I forget which). He was nominated for an Emmy twice, once for Seinfeld and once for the Helen Hunt one (gawd, I can't remember!!!!!)His "early" work includes Birdman of Alcatraz, Papillion, Route 56 (?I think), and a bunch more. Did a bunch of work in the Beach Blanket bingo days, with Anette Funicello and Frankie Avalon. He was a regular on the Monkees, and did some work in Get Smart, too. Lots of guest starring roles, like in Bonanza, Love! American Style, and Love Boat. He tends to play "bad guys", and I must have seen him "die" about 200 times in various things. He was recently called for for The Sopranos, but then there was some sort of conflict, so they're waiting on that. I'm going to try to attach a page which has his face on it (I just ran a search for him, and he has 12,600 mentions on the web!) If you want to see a pix of him, copy/paste http://www.what-a-character.com/cgi-bin/main.cgi?indexby=film&title=Ain't No Way Back.Yup, that's my Dad. Never meant to keep you in the dark, or out in the cold, or whatever. Sorry about that.Ciels-Michele"What of the dreams that never die? Merrick 0 #6 November 27, 2001 ROFL - That's cool as shit Michele. My dad used to be Little Joe's (on bonanza) regular stunt double LOOONG before I was born. He was also in several old westerns that I haven't seen either (Silverbullet, fist full of dollars, etc...). He did mostly stunt roles tho, didn't show his face much (don't know why, he's even hotter than me )."Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"

SpeedRacer 1 #18 November 27, 2001 So, do we have anyone else here who is related to a celebrity??The closest I can come to that is the three lines my uncle Michael Baish had in Coal Miner's Daughter. He played the store keeper in the scene where Loretta Lynn's (Sissy Spacek) dad is in the company store asking about (soon-to-be) Lorretta Lynn's husband, who was driving a jeep up the hill outside. That's about it for me. My dad once had a beer with Clint Eastwood & crew in Colorado when they were shooting that really bad movie Every Which Way you Can. They were discussing a script my dad was writing about a reporter investigating the Irish mob in Boston.Anybody else (in addition to Michelle) related to celebrities here?(I think I may have heard that Skreamer is related to Lassie, but maybe that's just a rumor!)Speed RacerWhat contemptible scoundrel has stolen the cork from my lunch?!-WC Fields
