Aviatrr 0 #4 December 3, 2001 What's wrong with swimming in Dec? I spent almost 3 hours in the water today, as deep at 120ft.. 72 degrees was perfect..........you trying to tell me that the water up your way isn't that warm? Damn....what makes you want to live there? Mike

I'm finally figuring out how to hold a sit for longer than a second or two without spinning like a top... today I even followed someone into a stand for a couple of seconds, then back into a sit without corking... woohoo! Hehehe... skydiving is fun...

I wished i lived in Fla where there arent to many of these days. cant wait to jump in florida in Jan.
PhreeZone 20 #8 December 3, 2001 I know the feeling with the water. I kept trying to swoop the big rain puddles all day. It got to 50 for the first time in over a week and with that much water laying around I was not going to miss a change to practice my swooping. Granted I kept flaring early, but I too wanted to keep the white jump suit white too. I'm not sure what to put here right now.....
Aviatrr 0 #9 December 3, 2001 Quote today i had my first success at the sit-fly. i held it for a few thousand feet and didn't spin "too" much. Cool.. It's amazing how you can try and try to get something, not even come close, and then all of a sudden it clicks and all goes well.. If you're not doing it already, try wearing a baggy sweatshirt and jeans or shorts(since you guys can't jump in shorts year round like we can ) to help you hold a sit.. Of course, if you have a freefly suit, it's best to learn wearing that so that there's no "transition" when you start wearing the suit..Mike
