Hi Lisa,
I spoke to you today about buying a Sabre 135. It didn't occur to me until now that you were the same Lisa from DZ.com. It's been a while since I've posted but I wanted to say thank you for your help, especially your recommendation to check the classifieds on DZ.com.
I had checked EVERYWHERE but here and DZ.com had the best classifieds of any other website. I didn't find anything I was looking for, nor anything in my price range on any other website but I found five possibilities on DZ.com classifieds. Hopefully one will come through for me!
I had to sell my rig before I would have the $$$ to buy smaller gear since I'm an over-full-time college student trying to graduate this summer. What little time I work every week goes to bills and weekend jumps so I'm pretty limited to what I got for my rig. I got really lucky and found a girl my same height and weight who bought a brand new Javelin custom-made for her right before she got sponsored so she sold it to me for $850 which I couldn't pass up. That was the easy part. It's been hard as hell to find a main my size and my price range for sale and DZ.com had the most options for me yet so I'm stoked and hope something will work out.
Thank you Lisa and thanks Sangrio and everyone else for the great Classified section on DZ.com!
Much love and blue skies,
Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/

I JUST BOUGHT A MAIN! Almost as soon as I sent out the e-mails, I got responses. My new main will be mailed on Thursday;). I'm stoked. Thank you guys, again! Now if I could just find a PD 126R for $600 my rig will be complete. I kept my old Cypress so the reserve is all I need. GEESE it will feel good to have MY OWN gear again. I feel like a huge part of me is missing.
Sangrio, hopefully I'll be chatting more this summer. I'm taking 17 hours of school and working, too. Basically skydiving on the weekends is the only fun thing I get to do anymore except for renting mopeds last Sunday. For anyone who hasn't riden a motorcycle you should DEFINITELY rent one of those things. I had a blast!
Talk to you guys soon, I hope!
Feel free to e-mail me anytime!
Much love and blue skies,
Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/

I too just realized who this Lisa is. I want to thank you for helping me select my new used Talon container. It fits like a glove. The other guy I talked to thought it'd be way too small. I'm glad I took your advice. The price was super and the quality was better than I had hoped. Steve

Ha ha ha, Joe. I didn't fall off the face of the earth. I just fell into a classroom and can't seem to escape. THANK GOODNESS I'M ALMOST DONE. Next semester is my last hard one. Then a little summer school and I'M DONE! Now don't ask me what the hell I want to do w/ my degrees....I have no idea! All I want to do is make enough $$$ to skydive, A LOT so I can hopefully get sponsored sometime. I think I'm going to start my own buisness for a while until I find something better.
When are you coming back to the states? Are you still planning on moving to Deland? Let me know. We have our happy little family living here on Atlantic Beach (T, Mark, sometimes Kaz, Jared, Matt, Jeff, Kellie-belly, Blossom, me and Billy) but being an hour 1/2 away from the DZ makes me want to move to Daytona Beach. Either way it'd be cool if you moved to Deland when you got back. I hope everything is going well with you. Keep in touch.
Much love and blue skies,
Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/

Tee,
Hey woman! Yep, I bought a Sabre 135. The colors ironically match my container perfectly. I didn't have too much to spend so I couldn't afford to be picky on colors. I just got really lucky and since I named my kitten, "Sabre," I am pretty stoked I found another Sabre canopy. Ha ha ha. I wish I had a picture of him to show. He has a miniture skydiving pin on his colar and he loves to go for walks and car rides and even jumps in the shower w/ us every day and stands at the end and tries to swat at the water drops. He's such a lover. He's only seven months old and can already jump about five feet high. We're so proud of our little jumper...ha ha ha!
So how are you? What has been going on? Anything new?
Drop me an e-mail anytime!
Much love and blue skies,
Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/
