SkymonkeyONE 4 #4 December 6, 2001 Flying on your back in a birdman suit is not a big deal at all. The reason someone would go straight head-down in one is so that they will have more power for when they go for that "minimum rate of descent". Granted it wont go back up as high as it started, but it aslso doesnt just stop at the bottom.Thats a basic way of how to think of it.
