I'll be the he voice of negativity here...
I think the S&T forum is already a good place for questions about the non-BDSM related discipline issues ;).
Considering thats there are typically 20-30sts a day in thhat forrum, it doesnt take much to cover the questions.
If you start splitting things up between 2, 3 or 4 seperate forum, I fear that they may become fairly inactive and people wont visit them too often (I think the video one is an exemple of that: very focused, but not very active or alive)

Remi, that's not being negative - it's being smart! Your thinking above is exactly what has withheld me from simply doing it (which should take less than 5 minutes!) You need a critical mass to ensure things are successful on a web site. I think there may be a need for a Swooping / Canopy Control forum - so I may run a trail and shut it down if it doesn't fly. So here's a different question.
What forum would divert traffic from Talk Back (where there's more than enough mass ;)) into a channel that makes sense and provides higher value like the other forums? If you look at this forum, which questions or themes (besides boobies;)) is recurring enough that it can be funneled into it's own channel? It should also make sense from a skydivers perspective....
Maybe a "Places to jump" Forum? Any suggestions?

hence, a BDSM related forum would be good to cover everything!!! lol... Freaksis, will you come back and post then? :D

"Jump stories"...?
Including...first-jump stories, weekend "hump-loading" tales, oh-my-gosh-what-a-badass-skydive boasting, "here's something scary that happened," skydiving dreams, things like that?
Pet me! I'm harmless and cute!

Remi and Sangrio both have valid points.
Steering some topics off the main vein can be a good thing for serious posts. Then again Remi has a good point as well, if nothing is lively the thread gets a sterile no fun quality.
I think maybe, only a maybe... a dzsports error could have been that it was too diversified. Too many separate topic forums, if you will, splitting off the main vein. This is all total hindsight, so there you have it, in my opinion.
Either the topic stays on topic in a thread or it turns to boobies.
The thing about this site, is it continues to be fun. The second we have flames -:(. I think its great right now and threads come and go, just no sky wars, please.
