I have two from our dz.com gathering at Spaceland:Pammi's SCR & My SCS (video by Ramon)dz.com Record (video by Josh Hill)I have a few others, such as some freefly & student jumps off my main skydiving page.They're all pretty big (~10M) and I've had problems playing the dz.com record video directly in the browser (although if you save the movie directly to disk and then play it from there, it works fine). Zennie 0 #8 December 9, 2001 Heh, one of those zoomers was yours turly. I'm the guy in white & black (that whole Tao thing ya know) orbiting trying to find a dang slot. What you can't see was that I was just a tad low and was trying to get back up & stay close to the formation at the same time. The classic moment of that video has to be Merrick bailing out of his (hot) approach at the last possible second. Everybody went "WHOA!!!! YEEEAHHHH!!!!" Lots of fun. Brings back some good memories. airann 1 #17 December 9, 2001 I was going to say, hummm that Slapshimself is getting pretty good. Still... its all fun as hell to see these videos. All the videos I get to see (over the shoulders of others) are veterans flying perfectly and some non visible error is dwelled upon. The exit is analized and so forth. These are FUN videos, both for comic relief and for training purposes.As you can see from these shots, Skydiving is a team effort. Everyone is flying to gain one end result. Its a beautiful thing to put all these different skill levels together and see what happens. To me, the other interesting thing is the two videos themselves. I am thinking Ramon has a freeflying lens of about .42 like the rest of us. Vs. Josh who shoots other stuff. I dont know what lens that is and its good video. They both are. I am very happy these videos are available to view.On a more serious note-Also, in the video vault are more interesting things ... Like Wingnut's Ripped Main.. he is flying it, but you dont know whats on top.. so its damaged a clear cutaway and a good job done. To look at these videos ~ is to think about what you would do.And for me, the visual aid is priceless. You can explain stuff to me a zillion times but until I get the picture I have no idea. I want skydivers to come back, like SkyMedic did and say how they handled a situation. Bwahaha! Alright, alright, that'd be me. I'd like to say, in my defense, I was still pissed off about my last crappy jump where I lost my Dytter. Okay...so I just suck anyway. heheI went over the formation the first time because I overshot it, then went low of course, came back up, tried to get in and again was going to overshoot, so tried to stop the way I was told (legs up ass, arms out) but was apparently going to fast and flipped over backwards. LOL! It's pretty hilarious to watch Hence the whole 'zoomie' comments afterwards. I certainly wasn't very proud of that one, especially since Pam's SCR & that one are the only video I've ever had of me jumping.
