kevin922 0 #3 December 13, 2001 Humm they used to do domain filtering back at my old school, I'd just ping the URL get the IP and go directly. Try that -- IP is http://209.164.88.155/:)I remember playboy.com, they blocked the IP - but didn't take into consideration that playboy.com uses multiple servers using a round-robin DNS configuration so all you had to do was ping the URL more than once and it gave you more IPs for the same web server :)Ahh the good ole days
PhreeZone 20 #4 December 13, 2001 Dude.... I love Websense! I'm a Net Nazi for work and that product makes it so easy to Filter stuff out that my work load is small enough that I can hang out here all day I want to touch the sky, I want to fly so high ~ Sonique
Slappie 9 #5 December 13, 2001 Your a Canopy NAzi as well Just ribbin ya dewd! I used to be able to skirt Websence with safeweb.com but they had a write up in PC Mag and the next month went under because of bandwidth costs. Haven't found a safe easy "Free" way to get around it yet, but there are plenty of ProxieServers out there that can get you around NetFilters...
