skymedic 0 #1 December 14, 2001 As a few of you know I have a perfectly good 1952 beach T-34 with 285 HP engine at my disposal at times....I have a friend that owns one also. My buddy said he would fly if I wanted to do a jump from the thing....now question is.....HOW??we figured we can take off the rear canopy. we do this all the time for the team when filming formation stuff...this isnt a bid deal....the question I want to know is how should I exit....I think going inverted will be the best bet....but was wondering if anyone here did the inverted T-6 rides at Quincy this past summer...as I am curious how they did it....thanks for your comments....MarcRes Firma Mitescere Nescite

indyz 1 #4 December 14, 2001 Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the vertical and horizontal stabilizers refer to the orientation of the stab, not the direction that it stabilizes the plane.--Brian"The sky is lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep,And miles to go before I pull"

freeflir29 0 #6 December 14, 2001 "I give up i am no longer sane and i no longer care."That seems painfully obvious! No the vertical stab is pointed towards the sky when the plane is upright. Horizontal stabs are level with the wings..... "and I'm not easily impressed...Ooohh look...a blue car!" -Homer Simpson
