Jump Shoes, what do you sport?

I wear a pair of Saucony running shoes. Fit me like a glove and i know they won't come off in freefall! plus when i started my training six months ago the grass was green and slick and i needed the grip so i didn't biff I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver

A pair of DC skate shoes, they have done every skydive w/ me. I can't wait until i can go bare foot or even in tevas.

I usually wear a pair of Nike sandals kinda like Tevas. If it's cold or muddy ect.. I have a pair of old Nike tennis shoes I wear. Just depends on the weather and where I'm jumping. New DZ I wear the tennies till I know the landing area then I switch over to the sandals. I love the feeling of the wind on my feet!!!

Okay Okay..... they JUST let me land with the big boys a few weeks ago. I was landing in the student area which is basically one of two fields (Whichever Farmer Joe isn't tilling that week). IT can be a little muddy at times...

I wear sandals.
One tip on barefootin. I cut my foot open really bad on a sharp blade of grass.
There is this crazy dude at the DZ who is forever mowing the grass. He just rides around on the lawnmower so much we call him Lawnmower Man. Ok, so I call him that at least. And its all his fault.

Duuude...I scared the hell out of myself one time with the Birks. I was practicing packing, and I walked over the lines, and dragged my foot a little, and a bunch of lines got caught immediately in the buckle on my Birks. I've been wearing black hightop Chuck Taylors sense I was 11 years old. They've worked for me sense the 70's. I've got flat feet, so their all I can wear. Wow their in style again too for the 5th or 6th time.

I was going to get a pair of Airwalks (the name seemed appropriate), but I ended up getting a pair of Adidas skateboarding shoes(errr.....skydiving shoes)!!!

Usually, a pair of 4-year-old black airwalks with reflective silver stripes. They are too ugly to do anything else in.
I also have jumped in a pair of sketchers, but they seem magnetized to the freshly turned dirt on our dz.
