flyhi 24 #1 January 5, 2002 Got the Jan 02 Parachutist and checked out the pic on Page 71 of Dove (I think). Very Nice.Checked out the Letters to the Editor, and what do I see? A letter from our very own Lisa "skybytch" Briggs. And the most important part...other than some Michnerian novel from Mr John Rich of Houston TX, who is trying to save my life by learning from his mistakes (like that's going to happen!), her's was the longest. Well done Lisa!! Is it true that the ultra-conservative, right wing, PC faction of the ACLU wants to change the name of Hemet, CA to Peoplemet CA? Just something of which I have heard talk. Good info for all, but couldn't you have at least once said something like, "Loading a canopy at 1.0:1 for beginners is a good idea and DZ.com rocks."? All kidding aside, nice letter and congrats. As they say, Publish or perish. Second point: There is a pic on page 45 with the photgraphy credit given to "Laci Linetwist". Are they yanking me? Who are the people in the picture, Betty Baglock and Marty Malfunction. If my name is Linetwist, I don't I am going to be skydiving. Maybe bowling or something. Sorry if this is rambling and incoherent, but I just had three mochaccino because tomorrow is the expiration date on the milk in my refrigerator. And that makes sense to me.Your Friend,Bobby PCintowflyhi
