prost 0 #1 January 6, 2002 I am interested in knowing how many people here jump in this area and what drop zones do you visit.William
Stacy 0 #2 January 6, 2002 grew up in that area. These DZs are all pretty equadistant to Baltimore (1.5-2 hours from the city)- Cross Keys (Super Otter/Super Skyvan/Caravan/BiPlane), Delmarva (Otter/King Air), Chambersburg (King Air), Parachutes Are Fun (not sure). From DC try some of the Northern VA DZs, I know Orange isn't too far from there.Stacyhttp://users.snip.net/~stacy

jfields 0 #7 January 7, 2002 Delmarva put up 3 loads on Saturday, with fun snow landings. As a note, Delmarva no longer has the King Air, just the Otter. However, they are planning to bring in some guest aircraft (CASAs!) during the summer.JustinMy Homepage
mgaillar 0 #8 January 7, 2002 Skydive ORANGE! This place has it all for a small- to medium-sized DZ. Twin Otter and Cessna. Otter loads are usually split down the middle with free-fliers and R-dubs. Great instructors for the newbies. Rock solid videographers. Nudies. Beer. Bonfire. A bunch of kool kats. Come one, come all....feel the Orange Vibe! And when it's warm, there is nothing more liberating after the sunset load than walking the runway nude, beers in hand, and lining the compass headings with the bodies of twenty of your buds (great boobie shots too)!!Matt"A truly wise man never plays leap frog with a unicorn."http://www.skydiveorange.com

pilotdave 0 #13 January 7, 2002 There's a group of us at the University of Maryland that jump in the area. Our club's official home DZ is Delmarva so thats where we do most of our jumping. Our members also jump at cross keys and orange, and we'll be making a club trip to parachutes are fun next semester. We bring all of our students to Delmarva though.Davehttp://www.inform.umd.edu/studentorg/cpsc
