AggieDave 6 #30 January 7, 2002 After a while I get tired of the same typical songs over and over again. i.e. Freefalling by Tom Petty, Higher by Creed, etc. I love to put *odd* music to videos. One of my favorites would be "O Fortuna" from the opera Carmena Buerana by Carl Orff. That's great for a slow-mo door opening, climb out and exit. I have a techno remix of it that's great for that too, and for the rest of the dive.I went to a Grateful Dead Concert and they played for SEVEN hours. Great song. -- Fred Reuss
kingbunky 3 #31 January 7, 2002 how about `major tom (coming home)` by peter schilling?4 3 2 1Earth below usdrifting fallingfloating weightlesscalling calling home..."Jumping out of planes for the thrill of it all."-J.Geils Band
dbegent 0 #32 January 7, 2002 I'd say the best tune I've heard on a skydiving video would be Sunset (Bird Of Prey) by Fatboy Slim. Try it with the sun in the background...superb!Other than that I'd have to go for the natural sounds - gives non jumpers an idea of what it's like.Enjoy. AggieDave 6 #42 January 8, 2002 I posted the techno remix of O fortuna (the one I used in the pumpkin jump) for anyone that wants it. It'll only be up for a few hours if you want it. http://www.texoma.net/~dkknight/a.mp3 When I get back to school (like this thrusday or friday) I'll have my servers back up on the web and could open my entire mp3/video library for ppl if they want it, for limited usage (they watch our bandwidth usage on the school network).Enjoy I went to a Grateful Dead Concert and they played for SEVEN hours. RemiAndKaren 0 #44 January 8, 2002 I've got 2 songs that are synonymous with skydiving in my mind..Never There, by Cake (really funny to sing yourself that song on a big way if your in the base and 1 or 2 people overswoop! lol)and Fruitcake by Jimmy Buffet (just coz it played all the time at the Muff Bros tent the 1st Quincy I went to in 94, and now that song means Skydiving to me...)RemiMuff
