MiataDRM 0 #3 January 7, 2002 Hey, there is nothing wrong w/ doing a tandem. I plan on celebrating my 100 jump by becoming a passenger for once! :o) Seriously, I think the idea of you doing Tandem is a great idea. However, if you like it & plan to get your A license & continue w/ the sport...look into AFF. **I'm a Pschydiver!Majdi
3fLiEr 0 #4 January 7, 2002 If its a one off then yeah a tandem is cool......... but if you know you will continue why waste the time and money with it??? ............ 100th jump a tandem?....... can i ask why?..... why not do a big way?....or something for kick like a Mr Bill ... surely better visuals and experience?bsbd"In a world where we are slaves to gravity I am pleased to be a freedom fighter"

Billy 0 #10 January 8, 2002 Hay Harro,,Nice of ya ta offer ta show her around!! Aliala both have advantages & disadvantages for ya first jump,, tandem would be cheaper, with AFF youll be flying solo after the chute opens being talked down by a radio,, still about a mile up,, you would enjoy both,, whichever ya decide be sure ta get video of it!! freefallfreak 0 #17 January 8, 2002 Aliala,Ok, here's the deal...1.5 hours from Melbourne in a generally S.W. direction ia a place called Barwonheads..a pretty fair DZ. And 2.5 hours from Melbourne in a generally N.W. direction is a DZ called Bridgewater that is a smaller place but just as friendly. David, the DZO is pretty cool, I guess, and will work with you. Hope this helps you a little...FFF
