Now you're cook'n with Gas! Yeah, that's the stuff I like.
Are you into Case Mods? My old case had some cool mods, but I'm leaving my Lian-Li stock...You should see FlyingFeret's case...wow! Talk about kick ass. We're talking window kick cut to look like flames, cool paint job, matching blue LEDs and stuff. Got to get him to post a pic of it.

I've bumped into a couple of web pages that have some wild mods. Pizza box cases... fluorescent paint jobs... clear side panels. Wild stuff. Never done anything to mine though.
Yeah & get that pic of ferret's case. I love that kind of stuff.
Oh & since Clay is asleep at the switch I'll say his line for him...
NERDS!!!!

Ahh... Athlon lovin'. Sigh. I am awaiting the day when EPoX releases their board with the 760MPX chipset so I can upgrade to dually XP's.
Nothing against Asus but I am on my third EPoX and the things are stable & bullet-proof. Plus I really like the keyboard power-up.
I just cut four 120mm blowholes in my Yeong Yang server cube. After I get the fans in I'm going with a window over the board side and one on the drive array side with blue neon. All the LED's have already been changed over to blue already.
I also have about 5 backlit two-line LCD screens lying around so I may mount one of those in the case along with one in my monitor and use the LPT driver to show MP3 info on both of them.

Your local 2600 chapter, we read your mail so you don't have to..

True test of Geek-dom.... who knows the meaning behind "2600"? Ok, if you know it's a magazine, you're halfway there.
Speaking of reading email....

Speaking of case mods...

I love that site.
Back to the Apple v Whatever processor debate - aren't the Motorola's still RISC processors? Which should give them some speed increase over an AMD or Intel. You can't really compare mhz between processors. Even between intel and amd, an intel 1.2 might actually be slower than an amd 1.0

Huh, yeah...2600Hhz, used before the implementation of the 4ess switching system to signify that the trunk line was open between two switches. So, if that tone was "blown" in an open line, the switch would seize that line, then after blowing, if I remember correctly, 1700 hrz, you could uses your DTMFs and dial, followed by 700Hrz to complete the call. You could repeat this process and bounce your call all over the US/world. Since Ma Bell figured out that we knew about this, they put detectors in place in their old 3ess switches while then eventually upgraded to the 4ess and now we're using the newer 5ess switches, most now the new ones (ss7). :)Success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom.-General George Patton-

2600=The frequency that the phone companies use in their phone tones. It is also the frequency of the old Captian Crunch whistles. You could take a whistle and by blowing it in the right sequence do cool stuff to the phones.

Yeah...the really big ones

Remember, screwing fat chicks (or guys or sheep depending on your sexual preference) is like riding a moped. Sure, it's fun and all, you just don't want your friends to know. ;)

Yeah, 2200hhz for the red tones, but to use the blue tones to dial out after taking control of the trunk, there is another tone used then your dtmf then another tone to force the call.

Hey, if you put a bigass wing on the monitor, I bet you get more frames per second. ;)
