scottbre 0 #1 January 10, 2002 Man, I have to jump this weekend or I am going to go crazy. Maybe i will start wearing my rig everywhere and form some sort of bizarre dependency (aside from the obvious) on it. "Can't keep my mind from the circling sky. MiataDRM 0 #2 January 10, 2002 Buy a plane ticket to FL & jump your ass off! I just ran across travelocity.com & they have round trip tickets for $98. We've lucked out here in VA w/ blue skies on (most) wkends...but it's still chilly! I'm begining to view my rig as another warming layer @ altitude!**I'm a Pschydiver!Majdi

AggieDave 6 #4 January 10, 2002 Hopefully you're wearing more then just your rig, right? It wouldn't be a big deal, except, you're a guy...maybe if you could talk one of the cool skydiving chicks into just sitting around with only a rig on, that'd be cool...but, until then...Success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom.-General George Patton-
scottbre 0 #5 January 10, 2002 QuoteHopefully you're wearing more then just your rig, right? Yea, I have clothes on. The subject didn't say, "Sitting here in just my rig..." Quotemaybe if you could talk one of the cool skydiving chicks into just sitting around with only a rig on, that'd be cool...Yea, that would be cool, but we would need photographic documentation to prove it."Can't keep my mind from the circling sky. FallinWoman 1 #6 January 10, 2002 I solved my compulsive need to wear my beautiful Mirage all the time by purchasing the mini-bag with it. I use it as my purse, so I always have it with me. It does not have the same satisfying weight as my rig, but I have been known to check my "handles" when I put it on!"It's not the heights that I am afraid of, it is the impact that bothers me." Aviatrr 0 #7 January 10, 2002 Quote Maybe i will start wearing my rig everywhere and form some sort of bizarre dependency (aside from the obvious) on it. When I'm wearing my rig, I'm always checking the hackey/freefly pud(depending on the rig I'm using) to make sure that it stays in position while I'm on my way to the airplane, then before exit.. Well, when I go SCUBA diving, I always find myself reaching back there to check my hackey while I'm going to the entry point.. DOH! One of the guys I dive with, also a skydiver, always notices me doing that.........and every now and then starts yelling at me...PULL!!!!!!!!!! Bastard.. Brokeneagle 0 #8 January 10, 2002 'but we would need photographic documentation to prove it'LOL! And what's stopping you from following that old skydiver saying of 'let's not and say we did'? Or are you just refreshingly honest? Brokeneagle. I'm really very gentle, no matter what my kung-fu teacher says...
