dbattman 0 #1 January 12, 2002 My bro and sis-in-law got me a Bonehead Mindwarp this year (partly, I think, beacause it had 'bonehead' in the title). According to the directions, there is a custom fitting process involving a hot oven. Has anyone tried this out and is there anything I should watch out for? PhreeZone 20 #2 January 12, 2002 Thing works great if you follow the directions. I've baked mine a few times. Every time I add something to it (camera) I rebake it to readjust the fit. Place a thin towel on your head before you place the helmet on it to avoid burning your skin. or then that nothing to watch out for. Just apply pressure at various points on the helmet to make it fit good while its hot.I want to touch the sky, I want to fly so high ~ Sonique
freaksister 0 #3 January 12, 2002 It works fine. You should probably repeat the process 2-3 times. You just follow the directions. I don't have to put a towel on my head but I do have to use kitchen towels or something when applying pressure to the sides (near the ears) of the helmet to keep my hands from being burned. Also, make sure you PREHEAT the oven and then turn it OFF before you bake it! A guy at our dz put it in while the oven was still on, and let me tell you it makes for a great story!
