All you Sebastian jumpers

Recommended Posts

A couple of my friends just got back from Sebastian, and they loved everything about the DZ except for the showers. I heared horror stories, like that you have to hold your nose because the water stench is enough to knock you out.
I'm kind of concerned, because I'll be living in one of the RVs for a couple of weeks when I go down.
So, I just wanted to know if there was any truth to the rumors, or they are just trying to freak me out?
Has anyone had a similar experience?

Sorry, my dear, but that is so very true...I have a friend who lives near the DZ and his water is the same...it has a strong sulphur odor...but not TOO bad...I think this is all well water there....the peeps in town with city water dont have the same problems...
when ya coming again...before feb 15th???

Emmie, I stayed at Sebastian over New Years Eve, it was my first time there and I had a GREAT time. The people were friendly and the DZ is beautiful. I felt really welcome there and I will go back again. The Showers did leave a bit to be desired, it wasnt so much the facilities, they were clean and well kept but the water there is not what I was used to. Im not sure if they have well water or City hook up but it is not the greatest. You can shower in it and its not really that bad, it just takes a little getting used to. Have a good time and Send me an email as to when youll be there, If I can get off a day Ill come down and buy ya a beer. If all else fails come up to Deland!
