What the hell are you people doing online?! It's Saturday night for f***'s sake! I hope you're drunk at least!
Journalism is slowly killing me. It's cutting into my drinking time a LOT, and worse, working weekends means I never have a chance to skydive.
Anyone else start a career in what they think is their dream, then find out the reality of it is BULLSHIT?
I'm starting back to school on Tuesday to get my teaching certification. Big pay cut. So what. At least it might be challenging. And it's a good job for idealists (though I thought journalism was, too.) And that vacation time looks mighty enticing.
Damn it, I'm tired. If I hurry, though, I can make last call.

I'm only home cause I'm taking pity on Phree. Since his soon to be ex wouldn't go to his house, I'm keeping him company on IM. And i had so many better offers for the evening......I'm such a nice friend!!

My least favorite reason people give for wanting to teach is "June, July and August." Teaching is incredibly draining. I am frustrated with my job cuz of all the people in my building who don't do their jobs. For example, this week is finals week, and there are quite a few teachers who are not giving their students finals, mostly becuase they do not want to take the time to grade that many tests.
Sometimes I feel like I am way too idealistic for this job.

Heh, I'm sitting around with my old lady (Corps of Cadets jargon for room mate), just finished watching a movie, drinking whiskey and surfing the web. Much too drained from a night of hard drinking last night and a day of hard jumping today to actually go out anywhere.

I blocked AIM at work for the company so I had to convert myself to MSN. It works.....
