Spectrejumper 0 #1 January 30, 2002 Does anyone know if Perris offers shuttle service to/from the Ontario airport? I sent them an e-mail, but I haven't gotten a reply yet, so I figured I'd try asking here. Thanks.Mike D-23312"It's such a shame to spend your time away like this...existing." skybytch 273 #6 January 30, 2002 Getting a ride to the dz might be kinda tough but you can usually ask around on the dz and find some kind soul to give you a ride back to Ontario. Public transportation is pretty much non-existent between Ontario and Perris... if you can afford it a rental car is the hot tip (then you can easily pop over to Elsinore for a day too!)pull and flare,lisa--What would Scooby Doo? SBS 0 #7 January 30, 2002 Actually, there are a couple of people who give people rides, at least there have been. Not sure who is doing it lately, if anyone. Your only bet would be to continuing to try to contact the drop zone. Give them a call if you can, that would be the easiest ( (909)657-3904 ). I would bet that they can work something out for you.Steve
ltdiver 3 #8 January 31, 2002 Ok...since nobody's mentioned it, I've known people to travel via Greyhound bus to Perris. If you fly into LAX the DZ will send someone to pick you up from the Perris location. Unfortunately, I don't think Greyhound has a station at Ontario. :^( The Perris Greyhound phone number is (909) 657-7813. LA's phone number is: (213) 629-8401. Check out http://www.greyhound.com/ .__________________________________________http://www.discover.net/~ltdiver
Spectrejumper 0 #9 February 1, 2002 Thanks for the suggestions. That Greyhound thing would be cool if they had a station in Ontario. The DZ hasn't replied to my e-mail yet. Maybe I'll just rent a car, though I hate the thought of blowing $120 on a car that is mostly going to sit in the DZ parking lot.
