mccordia 74 #1 February 4, 2002 Not that mainstream means 'a good film' but it's some groovy stuff...If you haven't seen the trailer to Vin Diesels new flic 'Triple X' I suggest you head on over to www.apple.com/trailers/The trailer is pretty much your standard no-brainer action film, but in the end there is a realy cool shot of Vin Diesel riding on top of a car from a bridge, waiting for one or two secs when he jumps a pulls his base chute..It looks like a real BASE jump to me (the jumper reaches for his pilot directly and looks focussed on what he's doing instead of just trying to look cool) although I doubt weather it's Vin Diesel himself (face-replacements aren't that hard nowadays)It also looks real to me due to the fact that in the wide shot, you can see the camera attached to the hood/nose of the car (which will probably be removed digitaly for the final film)Cool stuff....but again...a silly action film without a strong story...but who knows...it might be fun (and get kids to buy second hand parachutes and dive of clifs and kill themselves and start a debate on how stupid base jumpers are?)Anyways....watch the trailer :)JC Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
