kevin922 0 #1 February 11, 2002 I don't know much about the sport of Ski Jumping other than the fact it looks bad ass. I was wondering how effective a wing suit would be in creating enough lift/forward speed to increase the results - or if this type of technology would even be accepted in the sport. What do you guys think?I was watching it yesterday, and some of those guys had some kick ass looking protective head gear. Was trying to find out where they got that stuff from.Anyone know?Kevin
kingbunky 3 #2 February 11, 2002 it seems to me that distance isn't everything, style and accuracy are more important than distance. i think i saw something about that and they don't go purely by distance for safety reasons. i could be way off track too, it wouldn't be the first time. SkyDekker 1,465 #3 February 11, 2002 Quotestyle and accuracy are more important than distanceI am not sure that is correct, but it is certainly a combination of style and distance. Judges will give points for style inthe air and for landing. Thos points get combined with points for distance for a total score.....SkyDekker"We cannot do great things, only small things with great love" Mother Theresa
