Emmie 0 #1 February 14, 2002 At this time I would have been arriving at the dropzone at Sebastian. Instead I am isolated to my room desperately not trying to scratch myself. Life isn't fair. Anyway at least its a good thing that I didn't come down with chickenpox after I got to Florida. That would have cleared out the DZ real quick.Anyhow I got a question. Since I don't want to come back to my DZ and still be on student status, does anyone know if any DZ's do AFF in the winter? Winter has been pretty mild so far, and some DZ's are open, so is there a chance they would let me finish up in march? I only need 3 more jumps. lummy 4 #3 February 14, 2002 Emmie,I did my AFF in early winter but I'm in Ca where a cold winter is if we get frost in the morning. I'm pretty sure Crosskeys is open but would have no idea about AFF. Either way , good luck and blue skiesStill a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest.... Slowfaller 0 #4 February 14, 2002 Almost every DZ in Illinois is open. The only one closed right now that I can think of is Chicagoland Skydiving but they open sometime in March.I'll go to college; learn some big words; I'll talk real loud god damn right I'll be heard. AggieDave 6 #6 February 15, 2002 Ever DZ in Texas is up and running, doing AFF, Tandems, and all the other great things that DZs do..."Alright, at 4500 lets break it, turn 360 and track away..."
Snowflake 0 #7 February 15, 2002 What Aggie Dave said......It was good meeting you last weekend sorry we didn't get to jump although with your fall rate the only time we would be together is on exitJG
AggieDave 6 #8 February 15, 2002 John, hey, I've got another rig, so I'll beable to continue jumping and I have a FF suit on the way, so my fall rate should be semi normal b/f too long. I'll be back to SDSM before too long, I pull into San Antonio fairly regularly..."Alright, at 4500 lets break it, turn 360 and track away..."
QuickDraw 0 #9 February 15, 2002 4 week,s today i will be arriving at Sebastian Fla. part of our old colony for my AFF. Why do it in the winter ? i would much rather do it in the sun. If it's got tit's or wheel,s..it's trouble.
