Just curious? Any of you (pilots or non) "members"? I'm not, but last night I flew my first...uh....mile high "Flight" for my best friend and his girlfriend. Does that mean I owe beer??

Man, that woulda been tough. Keeping the damn plane in trim with those two going at it back there was tough enough, not to mention ATC, vectors, approaches, and all the other usual stuff.

Wife and i Joined in a Cessna on the way to Key West for Fantasy Fest a few years ago,loads of fun but my altitude holding was not quite what it should of been,Esp when we got to the short strokes.

Doesn't matter what you were told.... but I guess probably planes don't have rear-view mirrors you can see the "back seat" in... what a shame. If it were me I'd be flying with my left hand. Yep. Back to work now.

Joined the mile high club on a Delta transatlantic overnight flight to Charles De Gaulle airport April 2001. Renewed membership on return flight two weeks later. I think we were on a Boeing 777, it seated 386 people, friggin HUGE plane, very easy to get lost in........

The scene of the f-114 parallel parking killed me, until I saw Hinkcley's Otter pilot do it. Then I laughed.
Granted turbo-props are probably a bit easier then jets...

Actually....
I remember seing a website or FAQ that had a bunch of different Wings level for the MHC (1/2 bronze, gold... bla bla bla) and some of it included hand jobs...

Of course you owe beer. I did it once in a 172 while flying. It's not the easiest thing to do. Now in a bigger aircraft with an autopilot it's not a problem.
