vickyt 0 #1 February 16, 2002 Sorry everybody. I didn't even think to tell ya it was a tandem. When I looked out that door, for a split-second, I was petrified, but when we were flipping out, it had to be the most exilerating thing i have ever done. The feeling of dropping that fast and then literally floating on air is something i wish i could find the words to describe, but it's impossible. Any suggestion? (he he). My second jump probably won't be until March 11, but im counting down the days. Your right, much better than drugs, I'm addicted.PS. Thank you all for making me feel welcome and a part of something bigger!
SkydiveMonkey 0 #2 February 16, 2002 You ask any skydiver and they'll find it hard to describe - you've just gotta do it !! You don't have to thank us for making you welcome - we're always glad to have another member of the "family" You shouldn't put a knife in the toaster - but you're an adult now !!! SkydiveMonkey 0 #3 February 16, 2002 Forgot to ask what type of jump your next one is? Are you doing a course? You shouldn't put a knife in the toaster - but you're an adult now !!!

LittleJumper 0 #6 February 19, 2002 Why not do the next one as AFF student? I actually wished my 2nd jump had been that way. I probably would have better landings by now...but who knows. Everyone has their own learning curve. Anyway...you go girl! I saw this one tandem on Valentine's Day...the girl was attached to Edy I think...she was sooo cute!! Sreaming & laughing at the same time when she saw the first tandem go out...then did the same when it was her turn!! Very cute! and as I remember...she had a blast too!!Good luck to you in your future jumps. They DO get better! What you "think" you cannot do ...you CAN if you "think" about it
