Trivia sites???

OK, I stupidly let myself be talked into providing trivia for the newspaper once a month, and now I need 10 "fun facts" that were due like last week.
Does anyone know of reliable sites where I can find stuff like that? This day in history, that kind of thing? I know of uselessknowledge.com and infoplease.com, and sometimes I use snopes.com, but that's ALL I KNOW OF ARGH.

NO I'M NOT. I am a copy editor. This is not editing copy. This has nothing to do with editing copy. This is an entirely separate department. At any other newspaper, this would be considered "free-lance" and I would get paid for it. Here, it's just a "personal favor" for the research guy who doesn't feel like doing it himself, and since I'm so new there, I feel pressured into doing it.
You sure like to argue, Scott. right back atcha.
Now somebody give me some triva sites, waaaah!

Just cause it's "not in your job description" doesn't mean that it isn't part of your job. Unless you are doing it on your own time, outside of the time you normally work, then it is just another added responsibility to your already pre-existing ones.
If you do it during the same part of the day when you also "copy edit" then it is part of your job and you are getting paid for it.

BUT! Jessica, the question is. Are you doing this "favor" while also doing your other duties or are you doing this "favor" on your spare time?
That will determin whether your paid for this assignment or not..

Days off are Tues., Wed. I'm already disgruntled and shopping around. Screw the "it looks bad on my resume." I want to be able to skydive until the beer light comes on.
