IMAX movie - Wild California

just saw this last night, the opening sequence was a skyboarder jumping out of a helicopter (and a big ass tail gate plane that said 'Perris' on the back)... amazing footage! "Jumping out of planes for the thrill of it all."

I just got this DVD! Very good footage. I thought it was a very interesting film, showing lots of stuff beside skydiving.

No Boobies! Geez, you guys never give up! It's more of a travel film, promoting California and the adventures that can be found there! Still, an interesting film!

I -love- the shot of Joe landing with the camera during the end credits. Looks like he's taking R2-D2 for a tandem.

i thought that bit was funny, him sliding in on his ass and people chasing him to rescue the camera. i wonder how many jumps it took to get the footage? made me want to take up skysurfing! oh well, i guess i better get my a license first...... but it will be fun getting that!
