Dutchboy 0 #30 February 20, 2002 It's all about the people who are there, and not about the planes, etc.Now Atlanta Air Sportz does have a sweet turbine Porter that will get you to 15k in 10 minutes with a 6 foot wide door. They usually have some awesome food Friday and/or Saturday nights. Lots of camping space on their isolated end of the airport at the end of a closed runway. Plenty of beer in the fridge. It really is the other jumpers and the DZO's that make the place though. What really makes the place is one of their jump pilots who is also a skydiver, 6'3" 195 lbs. of pure man........ Go to Perris Elsinore and maybe come up to Nor Cal for a day or two and cruise up the coast along Hwy. 1.
