This is driving me nuts!!!

well since you have a nice opening canopy my advice would be as long as you keep the lines strait and the slider up, it doesn't matter what it looks like going in the bag, it is still going to come out. I trash pack mine, meaning I only clear the brake lines and stabilizers, wrap the tail around and cuss it out as I put it in the bag. Beautiful openings everytime.

The problem is getting it into the bag at all before it blows up like a self inflating raft. I had enough trouble with the semi-used sabre2 I was renting from Square3. I'm dreading a brand spankin' new one.
Well, not necessarily dreading, but it's just pissing me off that all of the links to these two methods are dead. I can't believe someone hasn't plagarized them somewhere

On a serious side I had this problem too. Before you lay it on the ground get as much air out as possible. Simply and softly lay the canopy on the ground instead of whipping it up and throwing it. If you are soft there is not a lot of air that goes into it. Then gently pack it squeezing the air out with you stomach. Clay uses pelvis thrusts but I don't.
