My awesome grandma

Recommended Posts

I have one of the coolest grandmas! I can talk to her about anything (boys, beer, whatever), she always helps me out when I can't turn to anyone else (hence my towing incident a week ago), she's paying for my AZ trip, she thinks my skydiving is "cool", the list is endless.
She's really religious but doesn't push her views on anyone. Since she doesn't try to convert anyone or anything like that, she was all nervous about asking me the favor of having her priest bless my rig. I thought it was cute. Just thought I'd share a little story about my awesome grams!

Rock on Val... just don't get any of the Pink trim dirty in AZ ;)
And do you happen to have the look on the priests face on film when your Grandma asked him for the blessing? That would be priceless....

I thing that is way cool! If my grandchildren, someday wanted to skydive, I would say Go For It! However, I don't think their parents would! Lucky you. Yes, a picture of the Priest's face when asked to bless the rig would be priceless!

If you're going all the way to AZ, you should keep on heading west to California. It is a whole lot better looking at Monterey Bay than the AZ dirt.

Actually, the priest wasn't too shocked! He knows I enjoy skydiving, so I'm sure he thought it was just a matter of time till my grandma shipped my rig on over to him. Plus, she's always having him doing wacky odd jobs, so this is just another thing on his list.
I would've gone to CA, but my swimsuit doesn't fit (hence, beaches would've gone to waste) and I've never seen the Grand Canyon. My trip is less than a week away! I can't wait to get outta the snow!

Come on out, we'll all pitch in and buy you a new one. Maybe just a small one though.
You will love AZ, I have been there a couple of times and had a blast. If you are going to Eloy, it is set up to be skydiving heaven. Stop in Square2 and tell Margie Ann Hello from Tom and Ann in California.
