SkymonkeyONE 4 #2 March 2, 2002 Last I heard of Portillo, it was being run by some German dude. It's right on the beach, up on the north shore, where all the windsurfers go. Right up near Puerto Plata, which is a killer vacation local. They also skydive down at San Isidro, but that's not really for civilians. Last I was in the D.R. was 1998, so I cannot say if they still run at Portillo.
