weid14 0 #1 March 4, 2002 anyone know what the heck C/P 009 is in PD lingo for colors? I was looking at their stock canopy list and it isn't on the color code chart (I'm guessing it's their demo color scheme). Yes, I did call, and no, no one was there (it's after 5), and yes, I'm to impatient to wait till tomorrow.

skybytch 273 #8 March 5, 2002 Depends on which part of the code you're refering to. They code their stock list weird.A nine cell canopy will be something like LS-135-CP9-0009 - that's an original Sabre 135, their color pattern 0009 (NBL-JAD-WHT-NBL-NBL-NBL-WHT-JAD-NBL) or SP-120-CP7-0009 - that's a Spectre 120, their color pattern 0009 (TUR-MAG-LEM-LEM-LEM-MAG-TUR). As far as I can figure out it's CP=color pattern, 7 or 9 refers to number of cells, then the four digit number refers to their color patterns, and the four digit numbers are not consistent between 7 and 9 cell canopies. Where it gets really weird is when you see a CPX - that's usually a color pattern that isn't something they normally stock (ie really ugly )Confused? Good, I am too. pull and flare,lisa---Mondays suck

weid14 0 #12 March 5, 2002 well, yeah, all the Velocities had an "x" in there, but here it is....VE-120-CPX-0001 C/P 0009 W/ 750 VECTRAN LINES MAIN, 21 CELL VELOCITY 120 SQ FT so I figured it was color pattern 0009.....
skybytch 273 #13 March 5, 2002 My best uneducated guess would be - TUR-MAG-LEM-LEM-LEM-MAG-TUR I think they classified it as X because it has Vectran lines instead of the 825 micro that is usually on their stock canopies.pull and flare,lisa---Mondays suck
