Regarding the day of the Texas 120 way---- If you think for ONE second that anyone on the 120 way is not dead ass serious about making that thing work and living thru it – think again. And besides, have you ever been to Sland at All?? Ever watch them? … ever watch them for about a year or so? 7am to 7pm? Even when trying for a meazly 8way at Nationals? Point out to me the one of the 8 (and alternates) who wasn’t serious and I will show you the way to the Optician.A certain person with the initials JB, is a legend. The people he jumps with look directly at him in the eyes when the man speaks- and are as serious as a no pull. They don’t even talk during a dirt dive 8 way, or the debrief, or the tape, or the walk on the way to the load. And what do you think they are doing on the way to alt? Swattin flys?If you want the help of these serious skydivers with a forum record – you will have a much better and more respectful chance on a day they are practicing for the record. And yeah, they just don’t go out and pull of a 120 without practice. … and my opinion on the Texas 120 way is–they will make it. And… not like last year or the yr before when all that political crap and boycotters happened with some farther North jumpers regarding at which dz it would be done. Regarding the sticking up for JumperPaula… she shouldn’t be the only one that believed in our Tx dz.com group. It is the best. For a lot of reasons, record or NOT. Nothing to get bent out of shape over. It's all in good fun. I'm personally getting a big kick out of the Cali/Texas rivalry. Which sorta begs the question, where the heck is Florida in all this? I mean they have more DZs per square mile than any state and I haven't heard a peep out of them. Not that I'm complaining. As far as us reclaiming what is rightfully ours ... Ann makes a good point as far as trying it during the state record attempts. Those guys and gals are going to be totally focused on the state record. The dz.com record attempt will probably be seen as an unwelcome distraction.For now the record is still very much in single plane territory, and probably will be for the next several exchanges.And again, just so everyone's clear on this. I want it honest too. So I think we're all in agreement that no one will be registering folks in the 11th hour. I also really don't care if we take it by Texas or Cali rules, but if it will reduce controversy I'm cool with Cali rules.Again, like many have said. This is all supposed to be for fun & cameraderie.
