If you don't have an ethernet hub or switch you will need a crossover cable (RX & TX pairs swapped) plugged in-between the two PC's.From there, just set them up with a unique private DNS address (10.15.15.2 for PC1 & 10.15.15.3 for PC2 with a subnet of 255.255.255.0) for each PC. Do not use DHCP.Enable File Sharing in Control Panel > Network and then go to the properties of the drive you want to share and enable sharing on the drives / folders you want to share.Or you could be easy and set them up on the same workgroup name and enable IPX which is a pretty decent protocol but buggy to troubleshoot. There are a lot of good FAQ's on the net on "peer to peer" networking. Do a search on Yahoo for that phrase and you will find what you need.Kris
 jfields 0 #16 March 7, 2002 WinME?
