chicagoskydiver 0 #1 March 12, 2002 Well, I found someone who wants to buy my rig from me for the price I'm asking...the only thing is he still has to come up with the cash so I'll give him some time for that. We're all set to close on our house on the 27th of this month and we'll move in a couple weeks later. The money from the rig would definitely come in handy for the house. I keep thinking to myself "I can't believe I'm doing this" but it's an exciting time none the less.Hackey
MarkM 0 #2 March 12, 2002 Just think of the sweet rig you'll be able to buy in a year or two with a home equity loan. By a strange coincidence, I will also be closing on my house on March 27th. I'll move in that Saturday. First house! BEER!!must be those low interest rates!! But I think I can buy with very little money down & keep my gear (I hope!)And I know how you feel. When I was growing up we always had a landlord, so this is the first time I'll be living in a house that wasn't owned by a stranger, so this really means a lot to me too.Speed Racer"Fill your hand, you son-of-a-bitch!" In any case, give me a call or leave me a pm and we'll work something out. I'm planning on having a housewarming party as soon as we're settled in and you'll definitely be invited!Hackey
 chicagoskydiver 0 #6 March 13, 2002 Congrats to you too bro! This is also my first house that I've owned...so...BEER!!! I'll have plenty of that at my housewarming party, although I really prefer hard liquor. And I'm not leaving the sport behind forever...i prefer to think of it as taking some time off....although it could be a couple years or more. Best of luck in your new place!Hackey
 skymedic 0 #7 March 13, 2002 I might be out at SDC this weekend..but I might not...depending on work schedule and how many people wanna die this week for me to collect there tissue from....marcBSBD
 Join the conversation You can post now and register later.
