OH, more advice -- don't quit taking smoke breaks at work. I have not cut down on my slackage ONE IOTA, which I think also helped, cause some nights the only time I got out of my chair at all was to go have a smoke.
So now, every couple of hours, I go outside and shoot the shit with my co-workers, or take a short walk or something, but no smoking.

YEAH! Way to go girls!!! I quit smoking cold turkey a few years ago and had to change my whole routine just to make it easier. I didn't sit in the same chair in the mornings that I used to have my cigarette in, I had to stop drinking coffee etc. etc. but I am still smoke free today.
Good thing too because cigarettes in Alberta, Canada are approx $6 a pack and are going up another $1.50 in taxes!!!! :)Tee

You know what? The tobacco companies could band together and pour a whole bunch of money into a really cool commercial that's sole purpose was to admit that, yes, tobacco products cause cancer, and that wouldn't decrease their sales or number of people who start smoking each year one bit.
It was dumb to start, but way to go on quiting. :)20 million bathtubs can't be wrong. . .

Not me, I stepped up to the plate and started smoking again. Obviousely you are unamerican. Do you relize how many good, honest, proud Americans rely on the tabacco industry for income? From farmers to lobbyists, countless god fearing, freedom loving patriots rely on smokers to support them. To keep them from enduring the hardship of learning to do something else other than relying on a dangerous, caner causing, inhalent carcingeon we need to band together.
'Sides, to quote my friend Steve, "recovery is for quitters". It's bad enough we can't smoke in airplanes, offices, operating rooms and the like but if smokers keep dropping like flies then before you know it we will be a country of easy breathing, old farts. We need to live hard, die young, and stop burdening the social security system.
That's just what I think.

Who gives a damn.. They can find a new profession.. That's like saying HEY LET'S KEEP DEPENDING ON OIL instead of fuel cells.. Screw our kids and them needing fresh air. It's called "times change".. I don't give a damn about people in the oil industry losing their jobs if it means my kid can breath fresh air. I don't give a damn if the tobacco farmer has to start growing corn instead if it means my son won't smoke. Let's grow up. To call someone unAmerican because they express their opinion is nuts. I'm a U.S. Marine so don't start calling me unAmerican either..
