Hey Cross Keys, the Erin Express is coming!!!

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, Saturday March 16, in the filthy, I mean fantastic city of Philly the Erin Express is coming. If you don't know what that is, it's a big drunk bus that takes you from bar to bar downtown. Here are some details...
Buses run from noon until 5:30
The stops include:
Cavanaugh's - 39th and Sansom
Westy's - 1440 Callowhill
Callahan's - 26th and South
Kelliann's - 16th and Spring Garden
Kelliann's -44th and Spruce
T.A. Flannery's -21st and Ludlow
Bonner's Irish Pub - 23rd and Sansom
Green Room - 20th and Green
O'hara's Fish House -39th and Chestnut
...And many more.
Look, I know this is a Saturday and I'll be jumping. But in case of bad weather (i.e. cold, windy, freak hurricane) I'll be trying my best to kill my liver and need some friends to help and kill theirs too. Talk to Liz at manifest. I'll give her all the details tomorrow.

That's one of the nice things about Philly. The hoodlums know not to mess with a bunch of drunk micks.
That's definitely a fun time, did it last year. It's also free and the bus just runs all day. You jump on anytime you want and get off anywhere you want. Some of the most fun is on the bus itself, forget the bars.

I see a pattern, but I can't quite put my finger on it...
Just take it one day at a time, like the drunks do.

will you be able to physically enter these Irish bars?
On St. Patrick's Day the Irish bar near my house is totally packed, and they actually have a cover charge, and there's STILL a line to get it. F&*k that. St. Patrick's day is the one day I make a point of NOT going to an Irish bar.
Plus St. Patrick's day (like New Years Day) is the day that all the drinking amateurs come out. They get all f&*ked up & start fights or throw up & just can't hold their liquor like we experienced drunks can!:)Speed Racer

I friggin HATE saint patricks day.
The friggin parade goes by right outside my window, and I'm on the second floor, so it's wakes me up every friggin time.
That and they close the street so I can't park.
Well, I guess I should be jumping anyway.

yes, but it's tough. You have to squeeze your body through masses of hot women to get through. A real pain in the ass.

No cover at any of these places. And a couple of them have the streets closed off and serve you in the street.

True, usually the hot girls that you have to squeeze through.

I thought that was the point of St. Paddy's day.
